With an output of 120VAC 60Hz, the X5 Power System can power devices such as computers, monitors, USB hubs, scanners and printers up to a maximum of 150W.

After attaching the X5 Power System to a cart, users have a safe and simple way to power a wide range of devices. This can be achieved by plugging the X5 Power System into AC mains or, when AC mains is not available or convenient, via. two external X5 Hot-Swappable Batteries (or an embeddable battery in hybrid mode).

These batteries can be connected to the X5 Power System and cart using a specially-designed docking cradle, which allows them to be removed for charging using a single-hand. An optional hold-up battery ensures the power system remains operational whilst batteries are swapped (5 minutes under any load). Batteries can be charged using the two-bay X5 Smart Battery Charger (with wall or desk mount options available).

An alternative cart power solution (X5-LITE) is available for pole/mobile cart users that only require USB-C/USB-A power and not 120VAC.
