Body-Worn Edge Computer Server

Data that is processed on edge servers is not as susceptible to hacking as data that is in the cloud, making this form of computing ideal for military and law enforcement applications where data interception or manipulation could seriously affect the mission.  Therefore, Ultralife has developed the Crescent Server – one of the first body-worn, battery-powered edge computer servers.

As soldiers and law enforcement operatives are often required to cover long distances on foot, the Crescent Server has been designed to be worn like a backpack.

It can collect and process data from external devices, including wearable health trackers, cameras, GPS trackers, and more.
